Title: N Gauge Spectrum Southern Pacific GS-4?
Post by: trainboy59 on June 22, 2007, 09:54:56 PM
Since you asked for suggestions, I'd like to request an SP GS-4 in Daylight colors for N Scale as part of the Spectrum line.

Con-Cor already did one, although it has an incorrect pilot truck.  It is an acceptable runner with a big price tag, but it is out there.

You could buy it in various roads, even PRR in DGLE!!!! :D

So, I doubt that Bachpersonn would do one.

Check out Standard Hobby Supply (http://www.standardhobby.com).
They were selling Con Cor GS-4's for $109.97. I just looked to see if they still had them and found they reduced them to $99.97. Just UP and PRR, though... They are they only listing for Con Cor that Standard Hobby has, so I'm assuming they are dumping remainin stock...

Con-Cor is even doing the Goose in PRR & NYC.  Have they no shame?

The C-C PRR galloping goose actually looks pretty good.  C-C specialises in phantasy schemes.  C-C's point of view is that they want to offer something to as many people as possible.

The C-C Galloping Goose is actually a pretty good runner.  The DCC version just appeared.  I do not use DCC, but many do, so it is now out there for those ladies and gentlemen, too.

The CC Goose is very nice. It is TINY. Runs very well but will test your trackwork. You have to see it to believe how small it is. I don't know how CC fit a motor & decoder in the box. I doubt if CC will do an N scale Tourist Passenger Version. Very high on the cute factor. I'm a little surprised CC didn't add some other colors to the stainless body.
