I agree, nice video. If Bachmann made one with american couplers, I would buy one. Maybe I would get one with anyones couplers.

Does this mean you won't be at the train shows?

The underground segment was my concern also. How do you plan on keeping that area clean? As to the switches. It might be better to just delete the switches and run a double track in that area. Or use the switches as a cross-over if you want to reverse the trains direction.

Chip board will not stand up to water. First rain and they will be gone.

What scale are you in?
Have you tried looking in the prduct locator?

Normally this would not be my kind of train, but I just want to say that you really did a nice job on this.

Same here. The two times I sent something back, it took 4 weeks, and I had no communication with them.

On30 or Large Scale?

Why not both?

Hudson488.

No one can tell you which scale is better, they all have their pro's and con's. Of the two scales, I like HO better, but you can do twice as much in the same space with N. But then you have to have better eyes for N. Remember, it's your railroad, not ours, it should the scale you like.

I am suprised that no one has mentioned "The General" or "The Railroader" with Buster Keaten.

IMHO, I don't believe Bachmann would make an engine built by a different nation; but I can be wrong. I'm not a huge fan of a garrett engine, or anything that's not an alco, or baldwin built engine.

Rock On!

Bachmann is a world wide industry and already makes a whole line of European engines. A garratt would not be out of line to make. The problem is that it may not get marketed in the USA, and be hard to get.

I don't know that I have a favorite article. Like you said, this years annual is about layouts. I always enjoy looking at what people are doing on their layout, so I can maybe get some good ideas for mine when it gets built.

How tight of curve are you trying to go around? You may be trying to make it go around a curve tighter than it was designed for.
