Title: Auto Reversing track how does it work?
Post by: gustypr on October 02, 2007, 05:03:07 PM
Hi everyone, I am just starting in the rail modeling world, recently bought the Lafayette train set and received it today. The thing is that I'm also planning on building a city scenario and would like to include a trolley car. I found the "Main Street" set but I would like to know how does the reversing track work, what is its diference with the regular track? and lastly I noticed you can buy the tracks in this site , would that enable me to build a custom trolley set or I still have to buy the ready made set?
Thanks for any help and sorry for making thisd so long.

Dear Gus,
The reversing streetcar works using electronics in the car barn. The special track simply extends the circuit, and will not reverse anything by itself.
Have fun!

Is it possible to buy the car barn alone?

Dear Gus,
No, it is only available in the set. There are similar circuits available, but they cost at least as much.
Sorry!
