Title: made a mistake
Post by: george50 on November 16, 2012, 08:40:46 PM
I purchased a training crossing with crossing arms etc that upon arriving here, I found out it was a not an e-z track set up. Is it possible to remove the black clips from the e-z clips so I can used this crossing?

Assuming you are talking about the black roadbed, steel EZ Track, yes it is.  Carefully remove the ends of the EZ Track and secure the rails to the ends of the Crossing.  Just make sure that the rails won't slid apart.  If your other track is long enough you may not have to remove anything.  Just connect the rails via connectors or solder and ballast over the area to cover up the snap and open space.  Hope that helps,  Stephen
