Title: Explorer EMD F9A Dummy identification
Post by: conradin on May 29, 2007, 03:58:06 AM
I have basically figuered out every single item that I have and their corresponding catalog number.  However, I cannot find the Explorer EMD 9A Dummy being sold separately anyway...does anyone ever saw or bought the dummy?  It is made in China.  Just try to figure out its bachmann catalog number for inventory.  The Dummy road name is Sante Fe 215

One time Bachmann may have sold a dummy B unit. AFAIK the dummy A unit has never been sold separately (except at a swap meet). If LL still had a sale on GP20's, you could find a donor motor to go under the shell. You may need to get lucky with *bay. You may have better luck with the Nscalers on Atlas or TrainBoard Forums.

I'll just leave it the way it is...but I bought a new shell (Burlington). I'm gonna put the shell on the dummyA and left it on the train yard as part of the scenary.

Old catalog indicates that those made in Hong Kong in the mid 70s would be listed as 4666
