Title: Speaker connection in 4-4-0

Hello everyone can someone tell me where to connect speaker wires to in the tender of a 4-4-0 I am installing a decoder amd sound  I can see the wires coming from the brass strips do you connect to these thanks Greg.

I believe those brass strips are power in from the rails. The speaker would be connected to the speaker output of the sound board, wherever that is on the particular board you're using. The chuff contacts to trigger the "chuff" on the sound board come from the two-pin connector on the front of the tender. (The 4-pin connector carries track power forward, and power to the back-up light if the tender is so equipped.) Chances are there are no wires coming from the two-pin connector, so you'll have to solder them yourself.
