Title: Give a Look and Listen to my Spectrum with Tsunami
Post by: tonycook1966 on April 24, 2007, 02:21:52 PM
This is my installation of DCC and Sound in a steam engine.

Am having some difficulty with the headlight, but I really like the Soundtraxx Tsunami sound system...

Tony;
I did two 2-6-6-2s with Tsunami and used the "in and out of syncopation" effect characteristic of articulated and mallet engines; also the chime I used was that real low moaning UP selection.

I also did my Mantua 2-6-6-2 with the same decoder, and used another whistle.  These decoders are really good, and Josh, at Tony's trains, is really a great source of information.

I also "kicked" my sound down to almost a "misfunctional" level, as I think at "stock" level, it is way way too loud.  I have several sound effects so far, set up; and it is really neat when a train so equipped goes through that "sound area".
