Hello everyone!
This year my grandpa got me my first bachmann train-the chattanooga-and it is remarkable! Does anyone, however, know of any places to buy thomas products cheap? I only have 150.00 and plan on only getting Thomas,James,Percy,a few more cars and coaches(preferably Gordons and Thomas')and some more track to make only a small layout.Thank You in advanced! ;D
Where do you live? That would make a big difference.
I mean online, like a website or somethin. none of the hobby shops around me have any in stock!
These two sites are where I buy my trains. Hope this helps.

And I meant US or UK - huge difference on-line
I like this site:
http://www.hobbylinc.com/Thomas-the-Tank_Electric_Cars (http://www.hobbylinc.com/Thomas-the-Tank_Electric_Cars)
I do all mine on Amazon. :P
I go to > http://www.empirenorthern.com/ < they're around the corner from me..
Tom
Try Hobbylinc they have reasonable prices, that's where I buy my Thomas models from.

I'd also recommend Model Train Stuff too as MetaDude27 said above.

I buy mostly from Hobbylinc because they seem to to have the best prices.
But I did buy my Knapford Station from Phil's hobby because their price can't be beat - for that one item (the rest is higher than Hobbylinc)

I go with Hobbyco: http://www.hobbyco.com.au/. They dont have much Thomas stuff, but they do have non Train stuff! Like LEGO and heaps of stuff.
they do have alot of hornby thomas stuff though, and a shop I recently found out about called hobbyworld stocks bachmann and hornby thomas.
I always use Nicholas Smith Trains in Bromall, PA
nstrains.com
i use
modeltrainstuff.com
i get good deals on my HO thomas items
and used to before they quit selling them i got my G thomas sets great deals too
Wholesaletrains.com (http://wholesaletrains.com) for the best prices. Ive shopped there about a dozen times! The best, for sure!
They have eVerything!!
I've been following this thread with interest, because like everyone else I want to get the best price. But I haven't found any store yet with a consistently lower price than Hobbylinc. But I did note that some stores have a better variety of products.
It made me think, however, that some of you may want to broaden your scope a bit. I need to point out that not all of Bachmann's Thomas accessories are from British prototypes. They are just repackaging of products Bachmann USA was already selling in their American railroad range.
And what some of you might not be aware of is that Bachmann also has a complete range of British models in OO scale. Along with a lot of British accessories. If you are interested, check out this Canadian store: http://modelrailwayimports.com/ (http://modelrailwayimports.com/) You'll find a variety of wagons there that are exactly the same as the Thomas range.
I use www.walthers.com (http://www.walthers.com)
The shipping's a bit high, but the customer service is second to none. Now they have their yardmaster's club, but I am yet to join.
