If any other B&O fans are familiar with the B&O Modeler Magazine, this will look familiar.

I was just honored with having an article published.  It was my first attempt, so pay no attention to the sloppy paint job:

Jon - I've said it before - you need to submit things to MR and RMC. They like pictures. You do very basic things that a lot of newbies need to know. Keep up the good work!

You might try the free MRH on line magazine also. This magazine even can include a video in the article.

I have to say congratulations as well!

At least one I-1 caboose, and in your configuration, survives today, on display in a park in Clearbrook, Va.  This is perhaps 10 minutes from my house (photo from Dick Elwood's "Fallen Flags" site):

Looks like you might want to swap out those cast trucks for arch bars, based on the photos and on what's under this car!

About 5 minutes from my house is the Bunker Hill Train Club in Bunker Hill, W.Va.  They in turn have acquired a caboose--a steel bay-window job along the lines of what you want to get.  Interestingly, for its obviously rough condition, its air brake system and rigging seem to be intact, and it has no graffiti!

First Congratulations Jon  It's not easy getting published.  I wish I had your skill.

Second did anyone happen to pay attention to the article above regarding the New Dorp Staten Island Station.  New Dorp is 5 minutes from me and I might use the station in the article on my layout.

As a matter of fact, I did write another article about rebuilding that little brass loco.  We'll see if they like that one.

Let me add my congratulations. The excellence of your model is matched only by the clarity of your article. I'm impressed. And I know how great it feels to see your stuff in print so I'm real happy for you. I've done quite a bit of editing in a former life and I'd be happy to go over your manuscripts if you want. I'd be proud to contribute to such quality work.

Great article and the photos are excellent.

By the way I don't see how you have any spare time :-)

J3a, there is one more, an I-1a at the B&O Museum.  It's in pretty tough shape.
