Title: Dynamis
Post by: mudallal on November 22, 2013, 10:23:12 PM
I'm interested in the Dynamis DCC.
I am planning a layout using the Nikle Silver EZ track  with Locomotive with DCC on Board .
If I use the Dynamis SYstem to operate the train and the tracks ,do I need Turnout remote switch wire
extentions ( 10') to connect the turnout switch to the power source or would the dynamis system work on the turnouts without the need for these extension wires
Thanks

If you purchase the ones that are DCC you can use most DCC controllers to control turnouts.

mud-

You will NOT need to run wires to each turnout if you are operating them
with DCC. Your turnouts will use track power.

You will not need seperate wiring for the turnouts if you buy DCC equiped turnouts.  Some of us have hard wire non DCC turnouts to a seperate power source and switch panel because I for one prefer toggle switches to programing turnouts. But thats purely a matter of taste.

Some of my turnouts are manual
