Title: Best way to glue/attach EZ Track to layout
Post by: The Old Man on August 16, 2008, 06:08:45 PM
I  am working on a Woodland Scenics layout.  I need to attach EZ Track to the plaster covered styrofoam risers.  I am not having much luck.  I'm trying Liquid Nails for projects.  The problem is that there ain't much surface underneath the EZ Tracks to glue.  I can't see filling up the entire cavity with glue.  Any suggestions?

I like hot melt craft glue. It can be built up to fill a cavity... and it can be softened with a hair dryer should you ever want to remove it.- Mike

I use low temperature hot glue and it works well.  It is easily removed in case you need to to do any trackwork.

I'm using PL300 foam safe adhesive.
It comes in a tube for a caulking gun.
I put it around the clips where the track attaches-after the track is assembled. Seems to hold fine.
