Title: Derailing On Turnouts Problem
Post by: toddbygod on August 05, 2007, 03:30:11 PM
I am building an N-scale layout using Bachmann track with nine turnouts.  Most of my eight locomotives (five of which are also Bachmann) are derailed by the turnouts when approaching from the "Y" or non-moving end of the turnouts.  This is caused by lack of clearance between the turnout track and the locomotives.  Is there any fix for this other than grinding down the turnout tracks?

Well the problem is that your engines are too long.
Either get replace about 2 axles with non falanged wheels.

Check your trucks' wheels gauge.
