Title: 2 tracks 1 DCC controller...
Post by: MattC on May 29, 2015, 09:11:00 PM
Hi I have two separate lines running on my layout. Can I power the two separate tracks with one DCC controller?

Which DCC system are you using?  What scale trains are you running.  What is the current draw needed?

Most systems will handle several locomotives on the same or different tracks.  With the answers to the above questions we will be able to help you.

Hi and thanks for responding! It is the Bachmann E-Z Command DCC Control System.
I only intend to run two HO trains for the time being.

You should not have any problems with what you plan to do.

If both engines are DCC, then it will work fine. That is what the E-Z Command is for.

Dear All,
At train shows we run both an HO and N Scale layout on one EZ Command.
No problem!
Have fun!
