could u use a ertl fergus model on 00 gauge tracks
probabaly
Not sure. the wheels aren't lined up properly. The back has a larger wheels space then the front. At least all the ones I've seen. If you can fix that then yeah It might.
THANK U 8) ;D :D ;)
Just be careful about the clearances. The die cast metal may short out your layout.
An exhbition i went to last year had an Ertl model on a small chasis being pushed along.
The wheels do overhand, bit if you can change that, you might get something....

Looks a bit out of scale; is it even motorized?
Nope, is just pushed along. Might a bit out of scale, but for those who can't scratchbuild or think of anything similar, might do temporarilly...

By out of scale, do you mean it looks too small or too big?

Too big, you can see this by the way the rear wheelset of the model hang outside of the track gauge. It would probably be easier to build such an item from scratch to be honest. I know there are some 1:76 scale Aveling & Porter steam roller kits out there that share some degree of appearance with the locomotives.
