As for dummy knuckle couplers I pull them off right away and try to place MT's Micro Trains as quickly as possible ..

What no ARCADE AND ATTICA RR model for Bachmann's GE 44tonner? What a shame for local model railroaders here in the rochester, NY and BUFFALO, NY area..

 Gentlemen ,

I am trying to create my own steam loco roster and I have two questions they are :

I already have converted and repowered a older Bachmann 2-8-2 into a 0-8-0

1- I have a older Bachmann 4-8-4"1990's vintage" and a Bachmann N&W J tender could I place the N&W J tender behind the 4-8-4 or could a clear vision tender that will fit the N&W J tender chassis ?

2- Can I find just the 4-8-2 loco only? Being that I have the 4-8-2 tender  ..

How about this try kitbashing a 4-6-0 model from Bachmann's Spectrum 4-8-2 and 2-8-0

The 2-8-0 shell and the pilot (lead) truck from the 4-8-2

While we are on this topic for the moment,at the time of the BALDWIN SHARKS introduction / production I would have expected BACHMANN to add them in their SPECTRUM LINE of locomotives.

I emailed ATHEARN about this subject earlier this morning , here's their reply. Thank-you for your inquiry. Please note that we have produced a model of the CF-7 (please see the link to our web site below for more information) but we have never produced a model of a GP15.

JNJ TRAINS may have the only plastic GP15 shell available ..

I know that Overland has produced a variety of locomotives over the years, however, JNJ TRAINS does produce the GP15 shell all you need to do is add the chassis .

N / Re: Cancellation of the SPECTRUM 2-10-0 ..
November 27, 2007, 10:42:38 AM
How about this, we all suggest or petition to BACHMANN for a partnership with Minitrix to produce both the 2-10-0 and the 4-6-0 and other steam locomotives for N-SCALE, I think we might just receive better running locomotives . Please correct me if I am mistaken I believe that Minitrix has the mold for both the
2-10-0 and the 4-6-0, then again we would have to take in account of  the dollar amount for the loco's . However, we also could be stuck with the old MP/Minitrix 2-10-0 ...

I don't know if this topic has already been posted could anyone or a BACHMANN representative explain the cancellation of the 2-10-0 in the SPECTRUM LINE N-SCALE, I was ready to purchase two of them.
