Title: replacing rail joiners on ez track
Post by: gatoreye on November 26, 2007, 11:21:57 AM
Hey dere,
Have a question about the bachmann replacement rail joiners. There is a little square tab on the one end of each joiner and I am not sure what its used for.
I am replacing the joiners on my ez track and I cant figure what to do with this tab. seems like it should bend down or something to keep the joiner on when the track is disassembled but I dont see how you would do that with ez track. Maybe just need to break them off.

I am aware that the joiners are different than what comes with the ez track  but I really need to replace the joiners as the existing joiners are pretty beat up from many years of assembly and disassembly.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Walter

Hi Walter: just cut them off, they serve no purpose.
