ok if you read my other post  about the underground yard the track that is coming from the helix is straight but in order to get it to flow in with the rest of my track there is a 22"r curve right in the way. so to integrate both tracks you suggest getting a #6 and make it work? or is their something better suited to do this.

thx jim

with every thing said i would use a combo of everything once you find some layouts that you like you can use anyrail to figure out how many pieces of each thing you need and then when your ready to order

www.trainworldonline.com

will help you out.

or of course your LHS

they goto the acssory terminal on the power pack if you want and i would sujest this is get a switch from radioshack just 12volt one and connectit in between the house and the power pack so you can decide wether or not the power is on or not.

take a Q-tip and run it over the wheels do this anytime it starts to slip use the Q-tip once per wheel and start with a new one. this will help from getting cross contamination and reapplication of oil

General Discussion / Underground Yard
December 30, 2010, 09:24:06 AM
I'm planing on making a "underground yard" i say underground because it is going to be under my regular track by 16.5" so i was wondering how to go about getting from my "underground yard" back up to my main track. Space is an Issue!

I'm am using anyrail to help me plan it out. I'm using the limited edition but have printing capabilities if needed.

Any suggestions?
