Our good friend Steve has unluckily come down with pneumonia in addition to his other poor states of health. From what I have heard he is sedated and spending his time watching CN switch outside his hotel room.
Wish him well and lets hope he can make it through.
:(

I'll make sure I keep him in mind, and I really hope he gets better. Having the view of CN switching should make things a little less unpleasent. Thanks for letting us know, GG.
He's in my prayers. :(
Thanks, GG :-\
That's a tad hurting that you seem to care more about how a nurse wouldn't let you look out the window than of our friend Steve. As of yesterday evening he was doing better and is slated for a long slow recoverey where the docs can pull more train money from him. Tube in huis mouth to get the fluid out of his lungs :-(
Steve is in my prayers. I think CN bought out IC, so I don't know exactly if he is all too happy with them switching outside his window...
He's about 32, I think.
Wishing well. :)
He is 33 I think and NO that is definitely not his email. He can't check it anyway since he is sedated...
Hi GG and all,
I've been away for awhile. Sorry to hear about Stephen. I will be praying for his recovery as well. He sure has gone through a lot of tough times.

Update from today- He is doing better and has had the tube taken out of his throat. Hosptial Staff are assisting him in walking about.
That takes a way some of the worry.
Good to hear he is doing better. He is in my prayers.
Sad news.
This AM Steve passed away.
He had been doing very badly last night, and passed earlier this morning.
He had recently been doing better, trying to recover from pneumonia.
It was most likely pneumonia combined with the many other ailments.
Rest in Peace.
Thanks for letting us know. It is always horrible when a young man dies. But:

I just got the news by IM. Steve, wherever you are, maybe back on the IC, driving a fast freight, we'll miss you.
I've aparently been away from this message board from some time. I'm sorry to hear about Steve's passing; this is quite a shock. Thanks G.G for keeping us in the loop.
He and his family will be in our prayers. Rest in peace brother. :'(
I too have been away for a while, what a thing to come back to. :'( And this isn't the first time someone on a forum I'm a member of has died.
My condolences go to the family.
