Title: N Scale 44t switcher
Post by: fordhamroad on July 17, 2008, 11:21:26 PM
     -First Reaction: Oh Joy!

-Second Reaction:  Oh No!   DCC only?? What about the legions of old Bachmann DC only fans. Do I have to snip and chop wires to operate this loco on my ordinary plain vanilla DC railroad?

-will you do a DC locomotive run of the 44t. locos? I would love to have a New Haven.

-alternatively, will you include factory guidelines about how to convert a DCC locomoptive to DC.

Many Thanks

Roger

Roger,
DCC OnBoard is Bachmann's trademark meaning the item is DCC decoder equipped. But DCC only? You have a misperception.

A Bachmann DCC OnBoard equipped locomotive has a decoder that detects and automatically adjusts to the type of power. Thus the locomotive will run with either DCC or DC power.
