Hi all, just a heads up on an upsetting email I received. While the Title and link claimed to be of a specific locomotive, and the sender signed it as a member of trains.com, the link instead sent me to a website which is intended to catch and get the information on child pornographers. If any of you receive an email claiming to be a member of Trains.com, who you do not know, do not click any links, since the last thing you want to be right now is dragged off to jail.
is that where you are?
Nope, at home fretting about it at the moment. Its more sad how they have to have these websites in the first place.
GG, not to fret! The only way you could be arrested clicking on tht website is if you participated in it's activities! Although, if you stayed on the website for a considerable amount of time, your IP address would be flagged and they may begin to wtch your internet activities. Stephen
Hi G.G.,
Thanks for the heads-up on that e-mail.
Pete
Seems like entrapment to me.
Agreed that it's sad such sites are deemed necessary but also sad that many see nothing wrong with these methods. If an innocent like yourself were to have his reputation ruined do you have any recourse?
Ned
GG you'll look good behind bars ;D
Thanks Paul...
