Apparently someone was offended by my "Union Pacific" joke and reported it to the Moderator.

I don't mind having my posts censored, but I think it was wrong to delete your entire thread. That's like the old ploy of punishing the entire squad for the actions of one.

Suggest starting it up again and I'll stay out of it.

Good luck with your school project.   8)

I guess washing boxcars the green way is against railroad policy!
You might try an off site poll, and post it here, to minimize discussions.

MY  current favorite railroad  is the Union Pacific .  It runs across the street from my home in Marengo, IL  the single line track is former  CNW and runs from Chicago west to Belvidere and Rockford and beyond.   It is currrently freight , passenger service ended in
1950 and the old Marengo Station is in use by the Illinois Railroad Museum in Union ,IL about  three miles down the Line. When Belvidere's Dodge Assembly Plant is running lots of auto carriers are on the line , currently covered hoppers are the most common cars.
