"Changing the polarity" does this cause a problem with DCC wiring?   I have Kato Unitrack turnouts and am interested in buying the Dynamis DCC Wireless.  If Switch-Kat decoders won't work, what is the stationary decoder that will work:  Digitrax stationary decoder 245-DS64 ? Thanks.

I'm posting here, because the DCC link doesn't seem to be active.  I'm considering the Bachmann Dynamis Wireless System,  and this is a Bachmann forum, but the only replies I have gotten recommend NCE.  I posted the following question on Modeltrainforum.com:

Will NCE Switch-Kat decoders connected to Kato Unitrack Turnouts work with (be compatible with) the Bachmann basic Dynamis wireless system? Thanks.

And I received the following reply:

From what I know about all three systems.
I do belive the answer is going to be NO, NO, and NO
The outputs on the switch-Kat are not the same as the Kato inputs.
The logic between every thing is just not the same.

Bach-Man, Bachmann Dynamis Users  please let me know if the above reply is true or not.
Thank you.

N / Dynamis Wireless DCC

I was thinking of buying a NCE ProCab, but on the NCE DCC Yahoo group I see alot of problems everyday.  I have Kato Unitrack and 5 Kato turnouts, and I am building a 4x8 N scale layout. I have NCE Switch-Kat decoders because they have a connection for small switch indicator lights; I understand that they would work with the Dynamis system, yes?
My question concerns the number of track feeder wires for DCC.  If I was building a DC layout I would have to have 12 blocks.   I was told on another forum  that 12 track feeder wires  was excessive for my size DCC system, and I was told by others that 12 feeders was a good idea to insure good power. Would there be a problem with Kato Unitrack  feeder wires connecting  to the Dynamis system? Thanks.

What are the couplers on the Bachmann N 24130 Spectrum Acela set? If not magnetic, what Micro Trains magnetic couplers and/or wheel sets are needed to convert the locomotive and cars? Can you change the couplers(springs) real easily or would it be best for a novice to buy the complete replacement wheel sets?
