How would you get DCC into a James model? Do they make a sound chip for him? Smoke?

Ok, Thomas and Percy I can understand but James?  (Sorry to all of James's truest fans out there)  The only episodes he hasn't been totally mean in are the first episode where he meets some very friendly cows up close and personal, and when he helps Edward.  Other than that, he is completely rude, obnoxious, self-centered, and just over all deserving of a derailment.  And I am going to send an email to HIT entertainment and anyone else that produces Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends, and tell them that they need Edward.  He was the first, he was the original.  He was always the one who taught us to be nice, and taught us friendship, and the ability to rely on someone, and he was almost always happy, and never mean.  Now you can't see one episode where he isn't rude, or mean.  They are going to kill off Edward and he is the reason Thomas the Tank Engine exists.

Anyways, I agree about Edward needing to come out soon! But James is one of my favorites, along with Edward, don't diss him like that. :P ;)

More advanced DCC controller? Zephyr isn't tooooo advanced. It's very simple and easy to operate and understand. More advanced would be the DT400 hand held, that I plan on getting shortly. The Zepyr isn't hard to use, or set up, yet it's very usefull and can control up to 10 engines at once I believe. It can program, control a variety of sounds, control more than one engines at once, and it very much worth the money you pay for it! I highly, 110% sugjest it! ;)

I have the Digitrax Zephyr, I love it! I think it is highly superior to the EZC. Just an opinion.

Not on my Thomas layout. On my non-thomas layout, yes, there will be ballast.

I think they said...some wires were rubbing aginst the body..not completely sure, I was going for the layout car pulling amount with my challenger...the record is 169...I got 159...got the second record anyways!  ;D

Anyways, it was something with the wires, when they took the body off to show the bare wires and everything it ran fine, but when they put it on it wouldn't run.

Thomas & Friends / Thomas couplers?

Can I get some pictures of what couplers on the Thomas and Friends models look like? All I've seen are hooks, how do hooks connect to hooks? What am I not seeing?
