N / E-Z track planning & layout book
August 28, 2014, 09:54:24 PM
Re: E-Z track planning & layout book --------- as published, specifies HO.  a) is all the geometry/relative piece sizes/etc the same for N as for HO; i.e. will the book work verbatim using N?  b) if not, is there any plan to publish such a book for use w/ N E-Z track?

forgive me if this topic has been covered before; i suspect the geometry/piece size/etc is NOT the same HO/N  --  the topic of N figure 8 has come up at least twice and the answer(s) become quite complicated, even the best involving "fudging" whereas (as a test for Sn3.5) i recall the HO figure 8 fit together w/ no problem at all.

N / EZ Track figure 8
May 05, 2013, 06:24:09 AM
i would like to assemble a figure-8 of EZ track as a  test/break-in track.  assuming 11.25" curves, i presume it needs 18 curve sections; & a 90degree crossing.  question:  how many straights (in addition to the short ones which come with the X-ing) of what length are needed to make it fit together?  elementary question, yes; but i have limited experience w/EZ track.  thank you for assistance.  this is to be a test/break-in track assembled when needed, not an actual layout.
