Title: self service
Post by: mlempenau on June 07, 2011, 05:23:54 AM
I have an HO engine that needs cleaning.  I have found ez lube on Amazon.com but can't find it on the Bachmann website.  Is Amazon the best place to buy?  Does the conductive contact lube work?  I have also seen cleaning videos on ytube but nothing I really found helpful.  Thanks,  Mike

The website has it under accessories tab. You probably are looking under the scale tab accessories. It's list is about $16.00.

I cannot say if Amazon is the "best" place to buy because there are many on line sources that I have not tried.  But I will say that I have never had a problem buying either from Amazon or from another source listed on Amazon.  I like the fact that there is a big company (Amazon) between me and some small, unknown company who can supply the goods.

Yes, conductive oil does work.  I have used various brands on my track for more than 40 years and swear by it.  But a tiny amount is enough.  More is deffinitely NOT better.
