I wonder who is buying those new $400 engines.  Seems most model railroaders are getting long in the tooth & many are retired & really can't afford these new engines ( me included). On the other hand, most young new commers can't afford them either.
    I'm not saying that there aren't engines in everyones price range,  just doesn't seem there are that many that can afford these high end products.  Jerry

 Reciently I chose not to renew 2 RRmag. subscriptions.  One I had for MANY years, the other for only a few. Neither one contacted me to find out why.  Seems they would want to know if i didn't like the format, I died, was upset about the price increase or was displeased about something else. Railroad mags have a small circulation compared to many other mags. & you would think they would be interested in keeping everyone they could.  Maybe things are going better for them than I think. 

  I know there were various improvements added to the K4 along the way. Are there any more changes except sound to the current release?  Jerry L

  Another ebay adventure,   " WON" a Silver Streak 4 wheel caboose kit & when it arrived it had no instructions.  Could anyone out there help me? It's a wood & cast metal kit.  # 929-182.  THANK YOU.  Jerry

 I have a Spec. Fairbanks Morse H16-44 Diesel that is long over due for a gear lube. What is the best way to get to them without almost disassembling the whole loco.   Thanks.  Jerry
