EBT 3-bay hoppers. I just had to do it, especially when I figured out that one donor car will provide the additional parts needed to transform two Bachmann F scale 2-bay hoppers into 3-bays. While researching the EBT, I noticed that the center bays on various prototype cars did indeed face opposite directions from the brake end.
Bingo, now I could use both ends of the donor car.

Nice Job! any pictures available of the steps to convert?
Figuring out how to take it apart was the toughest part… boy, there are some small screws that are well hidden.
Calculating where to cut, so that you end up with the 4-way intersection of the slopes for the new bay is the secret.

I will probably do couple more and document the procedure.
