Agreed Dukes return is long over due. On the subject of Bertram I fell he could become a very interesting character if used and developed correctly, it's been established he is very brave so there's something to work with already I can see him being the main character in horror based episodes.

I'd really like both Murdoch and Molly to return, they both actually had a personality Murdoch was a gentle giant engines would be both in awe of him and fear him slightly because of his size. And Molly has an inferiorit complex and you want her to succeed and feel good about herself, also any female character that gives Emily less screen time/based episodes is alright in my book.

As far as RWS characters i'd really like Bear, Wilbert and the Culdee fell railway engines to be introduced. As I kid I was always disappointed these characters never made it to the TV series. But if I had my way every character from the books would be involved with the TV series.

The Slate Wagons remind remind me of ERTL models for some reason.

There's always one isn't there? The black running board was actually taken from the Railway Series for the CGI incarnation plus the CGI face looks not much different from the model version. And also as I've said before it will be easily modifiable even for someone without any scale modelling skills

And besides the model era ended 8 years ago, I would've thought everyone could figure any kind of merchandise would be based on the current CGI incarnations.

That was an amazing episode all those references to the classic series worked well and brought out the nostalgia and the brotherly love was shown really well also I can even look past the Thomas shoehorning because after all the twins saved him after he was buried in snow. Of course I'm going to be biased because it's my favourite characters but it's the best episode of the season for me.

Heaven forbid Bachmann makes Philip.

Bradford is the character we always needed to counter the ridiculous unrealism in the modern series, hopefully he appears again soon.

Yeah it wasn't a bad episode but the problem with it is that Henry has pulled the express before many times already and the episode treats it as his first time.

The Donald and Douglas focused episode is all I am interested in but looking at the schedule it won't air for a while probably. Season 20 has started airing on Channel 5 at 7:30 am from yesterday for the UK.
