Not sure why picture did not show up, but there is clearly a battery compartment were the fuel tank  is. it holds two AA or AAA also besides the engine # on each side of the cab and the# boards they are also on ea. side of the angled hood if that helps.

I seen a picture of this engine, I think the engine is a Bachmann DD40AX very old #6922 there is a battery compartment on the bottom center. not sure what that would be, does any one know?

I have a new Bachmann DD40AX with sound, it worked perfect out of the box, but now it runs and all the lights work fine but the sound keeps shutting off while standing still, it did not do this at first, but as soon as i move the throttle in restarts the sound, I am using a Digitrax Zephr extra.

I bought a new DD40AX W/sound and trying to find out how many CVs can be changed, the paper work that came with it does not say any thing about the Sound decoder CVs, were can i find that information.

I have a Bachmann 2-8-2 Mikado road # 2528 and can not find the parts sheet on the Bachmann web site, I have looked many times thinking i just missed it, any help in finding were i can find one.

Thanks Joe I will try that, in your opionion will that eleminate the buzz or just run better?

I changed the cv 2 to 25 and it starts out way better but the buzz is still there as soon as you move the throttle the buzz is not there at a zero throttle setting.

I have it on my DCC track, is there a way to switch it to DCC, is the default 03 for DCC?

Just recieved a new GB38 with DCC onboard, this is my first Bachmann engine, when i put it on the layout and increase the throttle the motor buzzs and will not move unless the throttle is at about full and the same for reverse, could this be a CV setting oir do you think it is deffective unit?
