I have a chance to buy a new Bachmann plus F7 A & B powered unit, My ? is, are this engines worth spending the money to put DCC with sound, the engines are selling for $25.00 for the pair.

I bought a new Bachmann EMD SD40-2 DCC equipped, I am waiting for it to come in at LHS.
my ? is is there room in the shell to add a speaker and replace the decoder and is it a plug and play?   ( there on backorder )

It seems that the motor is burnt out it will not run at all and the lights will not work,

I think i could just replace the motor and all would be well.

I picked up a Bachmann Overland 4-8-4 at a flea market as is. so it was no surprise that it did not run, I plan on sending it in for repair.

My ?  is if requested, could they make it DCC ready with a quick plug.

I Have  a Trix BigBoy with V3.0 Loxsound 2004, I am using a Digitrax Zephyr Extra controller with 29 function keys, i can not get the airpump sound to shut of and i have been on the Loksound dissusion site and no help from them, does any body have and suggestions on how to help?

Part # for the board is 90616 and yes F0 is on.

wired in 1.5 volt lights and still no joy, very confused, a nother ? are the four wire hookup pads on the opposite side of the motor hookup for speakers?

I have a new EMD GP38-2 DC, (blue box item 61712)  I removed the pcb13 board and wired in a athrean dcc ready board with a quick plug, i pluged in a decoder and the engine runs fine forward and backwards, the problem is the lights will not work in either derection, i checked the lights and they are not burnt out , they light up using another power source, they are not LED.
