Double sided Scotch tape will work too . It might take a couple layers to get the right thickness .

Someone on TRW had a couple for sale on the Bay this week and I bought one of them . Currently there are 2 different ones still listed there . If everything checks out OK , I'll be getting a Tsunami 2 installed .

The new Tsunami 2 has the rail click .  And the whistles are excellent ! Really good motor control too .

I'm pretty sure that the guy that does my sound installs said he uses a plug that they have . If you e-mail Jerry Rowley at jwoodone@cox.net he should have an answer .

Mark,

I have some older DC locos that I want to convert to DCC and to Bachmann's new tenders.  But, Bachmann doesn't seem to sell the plugs to fit their tenders as separate parts.  Do you know where we can get the plugs to use for DC-to-DCC conversions?  If it is some big electronics outlet, do you know the actual part designation?

I think Litchfield Station has the plugs , or something that would work .

You might NWSL  ( North West Short Line )  , but I doubt that they will have anything .  It's probably easiest to just buy a better newer loco . The newest locos do run better .

Check out the new Tsunami 2 decoder . It has a fantastic Pennsy whistle on it .  I replaced the stock decoder on my K4 with an Econami decoder and use the B&O 3 chime whistle , but am thinking of upgrading to the Tsunami 2 decoder .

Looks like you just got a bad one . I would return it to where you bought it if you can .  The only other option would be to contact someone that would fix it for you . I know there are a couple of people over on the www.therailwire.net that may be able to help you . It's probably the coupling between the motor and driveshaft on one end that is broken .  About the traction tires , if they keep coming off , all you need to do is use a bit of paint in the groove to keep the tire stuck to the wheel .

There is a circuit board inside the tender that may be the problem . It looks like you could safely remove it . A screw and cut the two wires should work .

I read that ...really ! ...LOL   and then answered the wrong question ......   Anyway probably a piece of plastic shaped and fitted to the half of the peg that's left would probably work . At least the draw bar would connect without falling off .
