Title: G scale track clips
Post by: NEWGMAN on December 16, 2008, 03:51:52 PM
I just bought G scale track from bulk stock online. Where can I get the track clips required to hold them together? Do they have part #s?
Thanks

Dear NGM,

I'm not 100% sure, but I think clips (long and short) come with every form of track: set, 4 pack and bulk.  Whoever sold you the track should have some to give you.

In a pinch you can use 2 rubber bands per joint around the outside of the end ties.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

The clips also show up on ebay and can be picked up cheap. The rubber bands will work. When I put my train under the tree for the holidays, I use the clips on all but the two sections where I put them together, there I just use nylon zip ties then cut them so the couplers don't catch them.
