I know this message was put up some time ago, I got insterted so i check things out my self. You can buy a power motorized chassis -Tomix tomytec. which does not cost a lot it is built for N scale. It is made in China and work very well as a part of a motorized box car. The one I made has both couple types so in can use it with repo or Knuckler couplers. I used referagotor car wich was inch and three quarters. There are several different sizes to chose from that is the length the one I use has 4  wheel drive they make others that have eight wheel drive. the big cost is shiping you can buy one for $20.00 that includes shiping. You can use any couple that you want. they come with Amoldo couplers.

I have not seen the magizine yet. I guess I will have to look for it. I know what I want but have not taken the time for different reasons to really get started.

Yes I was planning to run two ovals. I did notice that the tracks do have plastic gaps in the tracks. also I was trying to figure out which to use on the out side and which to use on the inside. The pictures indicate that I need a left on the out side and a right on the inside. what I see does not make thing very clear. Thanks for the help.

Do you have any idea how long these tracks are? That information is not provided no matter where I look.

I am trying to get information about the cross overs for N scale are they switched or not. The buttons I see in package lead me to believe they are.
