I would think that there would be no main character.  Awdry liked giving the engies equal treatment, hence why before the show, there was only two books belonging to Thomas, the rest with him in it were more about his branch line in general.

Answer: It's called Spencer

     Actually, Spencer has the same type of wheel arrangement as Gordon, but does that mean he is bigger and faster?  He is streamlined, but that makes only slight changes in speed.

A4s (Spencer) were dang well good faster than the A1s (Gordon).

I agree with this, I would think that instead of a whole DCC range, that just one set would be released with DCC. Possibly much like other DCC sets, would include two engines. I would assume as being popular characters, we would get Thomas, Annie, Clarabel, Percy (or James), a wagon and a van, and a brake van (Coal car, box car, and caboose), and other general accessories that come in the previous sets, but this one with possibly more track and DCC control. Dear Bachmann,
At the HO layout I run, a Percy was recently brought in, and despite what I did, he would not run, and his face was coming off, and appeared to have some sort of ink on the side of the face. Do you suggest seeing if the chassis needs cleaning, replacing, or getting a new one?

Well, bit of a bump, but with National Train Day, and the place open today, I'm running the layout again.


We also had a bit of derailing problems... I left to see the live steam again with some other people, and when I came back, I found this. ¬_¬;

Today was a rather good day. Ran the layout, checked which N scale locks worked, got some new track yesterday, and saw live steam locomotives.

No. Its called a fan remake/episode, depending on what is being done.

I'll be doing special runs on the HO layout, and I'll have my N scale engines run on the N scale layout, though I won't that one; too big.

Thanks. We (me and the layout owner) soon discovered the layouts tracks were dirty, so we'd rub the tracks to get dirt off sometimes. I only run the layout on the public weekends, which is every second and fourth Saturday of the Month. Most of the recent photos I have are blurry, so I'm going to retake them next time. They also have a Garden Railway, live steam, N scale, and Lionel engines. Their Thomas doesn't do as much as my Bachmann does (theirs just does a loop, while I like to stop him sometimes just for the kids to see him, though it does break BR Rule 55. ) My hopes are by the end of the Month, my Hornby Caledonian 0-4-0ST will come in, and I'll bring it along. I mentioned him before, and a Mother thought it was a Thomas character! I had to explain to her the "British" engines to her, which she seemed unaware of, bless her heart.

Not necessarily my layout, but I do run it sometimes at the Model Train club, usually running their James/wagons included in set, and my Thomas/Hornby Rolling Stock/Annie Clarabel/Bachmann Wagons. The kids go nuts over them both.
