Title: connecting tracks to #5 turnout
Post by: whizamit on April 09, 2011, 04:12:22 AM
I recently purchased a #5 turnout and am wondering how to connect track to the straight and side section of the turnout at the same time. The two pieces of the track overlap and dont fit. Any suggestions?

should be a short piece of track that came with the #5 "2 1/4 inch long" .look underneath and you will see a score .gently remove the angle "tapered score" .install this piece on the diversion part of the turnout and install track accordingly

If you don't want to use the included short track section, you have to mark and trim whatever track you do use in the same manner.
