November 25, 2016, 11:53:52 AM
Been thinking about making a childhood dream come to life I've been wanting to create the original Thomas and friends in g scale which as a lot of people know was the original scale that Thomad and friends started off in befor CGI so my question is has anybody made the g scale thomas the tank engine into the original season 1?

Large / Narrow Gauge
October 18, 2016, 07:38:17 AM
Been working on some 1/25 scale model cars and a new diorama idea came to mind but it involves using narrow gauge engine and I was wondering for true narrow gauge trains is there narrow gauge track? Like 3ft. Gauge compared to standard gauge trains? And if there is would I have to make it or could I get the track and locomotive from somewhere?

I agree the 2x6 looks amazing but unfortunately I am not able to have that kinda space but is something I would like to implement into my layout and I may actually have more space since my shelf in my room is gonna have to be moved to the other side of the room.

I read some stuff in model railroader and one man had made a critter out of a Bachmann DCC equipped diesel  (probably spelt that wrong) chassis. But other than that I have no idea who would sell ready to run critters

On30 / Space/layout issues
June 15, 2016, 10:56:43 PM
I'm looking to build a... well really small layout I'm lucky to have about a foot by 4 feet of space but at the age of seventeen working at Taco Bell I would like to make a small budget layout I could possibly expand overtime so with this in mind I'm exploring several scales I'm a big detail freak building model cars as well as mine shafts and densely wooded areas not looking for realism but am looking for something interesting for people tonlook at. And I'm having problems making a layout design so am reaching out and asking for help from expert modelers on this forum. Thank you for your time

Large / Tracks to the trenches
May 03, 2016, 12:20:25 PM
I'm currently wanting to model trains and rolling stock from ww1 I want to do the Tracks to trenches railway but I'm having problems it's 2 ft. Gauge and I want to model in in Large scale so my question is would Ho scale track count as 2 ft. Gauge and I could use On30 rolling stock as a base for my rolling stock or would the track width be wider or smaller than that in 2ft. Gauge?

I planned on using Atlas track I've had a catalog while back when I was thinking about doing an HO scale garden railroad and it said that HO tracks could be indoor or outdoor. Thank you for your input it helped a lot
