Title: Roundhouse 2-6-0 DCC-Slow on DC
Post by: Sunshine Express on April 08, 2010, 08:28:43 PM
I have just bought a Roundhouse 2-6-0 DCC/Sound Loco, and it runs very slow on DC. My other DCC Locos, are Spectrum 4-4-0,Proto 0-6-0,both run very well on both systems. Does the sound rob the loco of some voltage  when on DC,?  I have not changed the DCC programming from the factory default.

That is a good possibility.

That, and most (all?) MDC steam locomotives are geared very low.

I have the Roundhouse 2-8-0 Dcc w/sound and they do run slow. The instructions  also say Max 18volt. I run approx 15 volts.
