Has anyone one used either neolube or blacken it?  I'd like to do the drivers and side rods on my Bowser Old lady

Dear Paul,
I've used Neolube, and I'm very satisfied.
Have fun!

I use neolube but it can be rubbed off by too much loco handling.

I have used Neolube for 40 years for smokeboxes, wheels and rods, and now use it on my 1:20 live steam. If it wears off, just reapply. If you ever want to remove it, just wash off with a bit of alcohol.

You can get it from MicroMark.
