hey all, newbee here, ton of locomotives now in my collection, some new, lots used. not sure what needs to be done to service these litlle fellas, oiling, gear replacement, etc. just looking for the uh... common procedure for maitaining them. thank you all

yep, mine must be an older model, number 6922. but i really do like this one. works quite well, and strong as all hell, will pull every car in my collection(along with drywall off the wall ;D), and thats alot. causes cars to derail on turns when im pulling to many, the force of the pull has the cars jump off. but really cool. wish i could upload a pic. guess i'm going to be waiting for the new ones too. haha

hey guys, its the newbie again, i need an explanation on this whole DC and DCC thing. i keep seeing it on ebay and all the websites related to model trains. could someone out there break it down for me, so i have some sort of clue as to what everyone is talking about :P

hi all, new to the forums, and just starting my model train set, and am looking for some sort of wiring diagram for the most common issues. electric turnouts are the primary issue. if anyone has one please let me know.
