Cleaning the track, and cleaning and lub the loco would be a good start.  If you have a local hobby shop they may be able to help.  To properly clean and lube the loco, you will need to do a certain amount of disassembly and get the proper lub from the hobby shop.

All the best,
Charles

Do you mean Right Track Software RTS from Atlas?  Also known as WinRail?

Chris333,

Are you referring to the blue tender and back of a loco on the left?  That would be cool!

Thanks,

Besides the B&O, I could also use a Pacific that is a good match for the Western Maryland along with matching heavyweight passenger cars.  I believe a bunch of us who model the WM would be thrilled to get these RTR.  We have been missing decent heavyweight's for a long time!  (We still need the Ten-wheeler and Russian Decapod too!)

But some 4-6-2's up to the 2-8-0's standard would be great.

Looks good, nice use of wire for grab-irons and braces.  I have similar plans for the Bachmann OT's.

Another example of a stupid "justice system" the only justice is if EBT is returned to their original condition at the thief's expense!

Some Nn3 would be nice, but it is a small market too...

Hello Pamardon,

If you can get to the local hobby store you should be able to pick up a model railroad wiring book with DC reverse loop wiring, which will give you a good reference for more useful things as well.

Meanwhile you could check out this Google search, some of the results are for DC (many for DCC), but you can get in some good research.

Pamardon,

The basic stuff is a DCC controller in place of the DC controller, and a DCC decoder installed in the locomotives.  What kind of train setups do you have now?

N / Re: Replacement Traction Tires

If you run out of alternatives, do a Google search on "Bullfrog Snot" for a $25 bottle of liquid you can apply to the wheel that dries into a traction tire.  The tire so applied can be removed and new material applied if necessary.

I'd call (215)533-1600 and ask for the service department.
They'll be glad to help.
