Dear Tony,
I've run multiple sound locos with no problem. Hit the address button for the loco, let's say #5, then press "FUNCTION", and you can control the seven sound functions on our decoders. As Don says, you can only blow the whistle on one loco at a time, but they'll all keep chugging away.
Happy Holidays!
the Bach-man

On this throttle which is the FUNCTION button?  I see STOP, LIGHT and DIRECTION ARROWS, but I'm not understanding which button serves as FUNCTION?

Thanks

HO / EZ DCC Command and Sound?
December 15, 2007, 04:32:25 PM
Will Bachmann's EZ DCC Command (44902) control sound equipped locos?  I see the number keys (1-10), but do they control sound functions like Horn, Bell, etc. as those number keys would on say a Digitrax Zephyr throttle?

I have a friend who wants to install sound in a loco and asked whether his Bachmann EZ DCC Command would be able to control the sound?

Thanks,

Tony

General Discussion / Bachmann 1983 Catalog online...
September 15, 2007, 11:20:52 AM
Now have three classic Bachmann product catalogs available online...

The latest is the complete 1983 Bachmann Catalog.  This was the company's 150th Anniversary edition and included the PowerHouse and M*A*S*H sets in HO-scale; UP's DDA40X comes to N-scale; and the short-lived 1/32nd Road Racing.

This is a booklet version right?

The Bachmann 1978 appears in two sizes from what I've encountered.  There's one that is small and about the size TV Guide used to be some years back.  The other is typical magazine sized 8.5" x 11".  Regardless of size, both have the same info and number of pages.  The scans were done from the larger example.

I have all the Bachmann catalogs from 1969-to the present.

Thanks,

Tony

Take another look.  Really like Con-Cor's coming AeroTrain and UP M-10000 sets!  Very Cool!

And still can't get over how awesome Bachmann's new Berkshire and Sharks look!!

I'll have to check my 1978 catalog to answer your questions.  I'm away from home today and don't have it available to me.

HO-Scale arrives from Bachmann with their 1970 catalog.  I've been reworking my B'mann site, but here's a link to it...

I'll work on scans and will post back here as I have them completed.

The missing ones are 71-72, 75, 78, 81, 83-84.

I have all the above mentioned Bachmann catalogs you are looking for to complete your set.  Sadly, no extra copies but can help you by providing scans of the N-scale sections if you're interested.
