Title: Removing body of an RS-3
Post by: BPandWV on March 12, 2013, 02:05:22 PM
I have an RS-3 w/DCC and I want to remove the shell to install sound - or at least access the drive mechanism.  My problem is that , unlike my S-4, the RS-3 did not come with any Bachmann paperwork, specifically an exploded diagram.  Removing the couplers does not seem to loosen the shell enough to be removed.  How does one remove the shell on the RS-3?

It looks like there are 2 screws that hold the body on. Remove the fuel tank cover and see if there are 2 screws. One on each side. If not there look along  the frame. Joe
