Thats what I figured, but how do you remove the pole? No screw that I can see, just cut it or pull it out? Nothing in the paper work on how its connected. I want to remove it and still be able to put it back on at a later date. Maybe it just pops into place? Any one removed a pole?

Mr Bachmann, do the trolley poles on a brill n scale trolley function? If not can they be removed without damaging the trolley?

I just got 2 new Bachmann trolleys. Both run great through my little town but I want to have them run and auto reverse by themselves. What is the best way to do this? Does Bachmann have an n scale option?

You might want to look up common rail block control to better understand the use of insulated (plastic) rail joiners. Using the insulated rail joiner will allow you to run multiple trains or make a more prototypical rail yard. Block control is used with dc layouts mostly and is not as necessary with digital layouts although still used. Atlas put out a book on wiring that I found very helpful. You can find quite a bit on the net too. It would not surprise me if Bachmann also had that sort of info either. Using an insulated rail on a siding would allow you to park a train there and turn off the power to the siding. You could then run another train while the first one is parked. With more then one power pack you could control 2 trains independent of each other, while both being on the same track. It can take some effort but the end result is worth it. On my layout (dc) two trains can come nose to nose on the same track, thanks to the insulated rail joiner.

I have bought quite a few woodland scenics buildings. Many of the new ones look great. Check out the newly released general store. I have found buildings on ebay that other modelers have built and detailed also. I make and paint my own models also. A little bit of everything.

I painted my code 80 track brown and the big switches a cement color with silver for the throw part. It has a code 55 look after ballasting the track. The only thing I don't like with code 80 is the switches.
