Title: DC and DCC track

I read about DC track and DCC track

Is there some kind of difference in layout design

DC and DCC  use the same track but you may have seen the DCC switches which have a decoder Inside to swich the switch.

Thereby eliminating the need for additional power supply and wiring the turnout TO those power supplies.

I have 2 DCC Bachamnn turnouts.  I just haven't figured out how to program them using my (sorry Mr. B) Prodigy squared controller.  I've been trying to follow the directions, to a point, that came with the tunouts without success.

I seem to have gone off topic.  I apologize.
