I bought a 82716 Spectrum series DCC equipped Pennsylvania RR locomotive at a train show over the weekend. I paid and unfortunately did not get a receipt. The equipment was marked as new, and all of the papers including the registration card were in the box. All of the packing was included, and there was not reason for me to expect that the piece had been used.

When I got home to try it out, it would barely run. I have to the power up to full blast to get it to move at all with either my DC or DCC transformer.

Do I have any way to get this item repaired? As it is it is useless.

I have a set of Bachmann Amtrack cars and a Bachmann DDC Amtrack engine. The couplers do not line up properly so that I can run it on Bachman E-Z Track around a Christmas tree. I have worked to get the track as flat as possible, yet I always have problems. Why can't the couplers match up on equipment that is made by the same manufacturer? It is really frustrating.

I own a Bachmann DDC transformer and I am very disappointed with it. I use it at Christmas and have owned it for going on three years. I have NEVER been able to switch a "DDC inside engine" from the #3 factory setting to any other number. A factory representative at one of the train store shows told me to use the "Function key," but it still does not work. I don't know what to do. Can someone give me step by step instructions?
