How do you tell the difference between 18 and 22 track just by looking at it
should say on the bottom of the track
Actually they are not marked
The 22" has a broader curve to it and the 18" a tighter curve.

Depend on when they were manufactured. I don't have the year the curve radius info was added to the info on the underside of the HO roadbed but it has been awhile.
The track from an Echo Valley set I got this year is unmarked. I have never seen marked curves.
Prompted me to check some 18"R that I have and on the underside it is stamped: HO 18" R 30 degrees (w/degrees as a symbol).
Interesting, perhaps there are multiple factories producing the track or some molds have the info and some do not.
Besides 2 Patent #s, there is another #. My guess and this is only a guess, is it may be a "lot #". That is 92124A13-2.

Please, no offense intended, but isn't it a "no no" to post the same question 2X on the forum in 2 different places?
