Title: Rejuvinating Bright boys

Wondering if Bright boys can be rejuvinated,have several that have aged a bit and gotten hard,still work alright but would like to see if i can bring back their flexibility,such as it was.

There are some things in this life that are so basic and inexpensive that replacement is the only practical sollution when they stop working as desgined - I think a bright boy falls in that catagory.

Brightboys scratch the railhead and are therefore NOT a good idea.

The scratches on the railhead permit dirt to accumulate more readily that using a sofy cloth.

Use "Rubbing Alcohol" on a cloth.

There aren't too many rail caleaners that won't scratch the surface.  The only thought here is not to go overboard.  You are quite right about scratching and dirt accumulation, but it goes wit hthe territory-and besides, we have to keep Mr. Brightboy fed and well.
