Anyone know the minimum turn radius on this engine?

The minimum recommended radius is 22 inches. If you have the space, it will look and run better on curves in the 28 to 26 inch radius range. Larger if you can do it.

Just by way of comparison, the minimum curve the prototype Texas locos operated on was about 10 degrees of curvature, which is really tight by prototype standards. That would be roughly a 79 inch radius in HO.

Interesting site Joe.

And yeah, the 'Chugger' had major side to side slop built into the middle 3 axles so, in theory anyway, it would go around 18" curves. But it looked rediculous. Which is why the recommended curve was 22" radius, and even then the cab overhang looks silly.
