Kudo's to the Service Department.
I would like to thank Bridget at the Service Department for helping me out. I mailed the Service Dept that I was missing the rear coupler plate on a F7B unit.
I forgot to include both the parts number and the model number of the unit, but she sent me a message indicating that the part was on its way. She obviously had to look up the parts number herself to identify the part.
:D I agree. I dealt with the service department a few weeks ago, looking for a smokebox cover, boiler front plate, thing that holds the light or whatever it is called, and they new not only what I was talking about but knew the rest of the parts I needed to rebuild a G4 Daylight. I received the parts in a week and now I have a new steam engine along with some stuff they sent to repair the Tender! My thanks and with much appreciation for Bachmann. They took a lot of time to help me. Stephen
Service is just the opposite these days in the N- SCALE dept. :(
At least you HO guys are happy.
I have dealt with Bachmann service only twice in about the past 5 years. Nothing but great responses from them.
