what is the train number? Thought I read that if the train was let's say #7 then it was the 27htz freq.
It it was like 99 then it's the 49htz freq....or did I read that incorrectly.

Awesome. Just picked this up last week for 20'ish bucks on ebay. When it arrived I powered it up with the batteries they sent. Seemed to work but batteries were low. Got some rechargeable D batteries coming in the mail to give it a full test. This is the Holiday express. Got the tender and a separate red caboose that matches. It was a little seized so before powering it on I oiled/greased everything up. Also, the steam whistle was missing so I cut the handle from a cake topper light sabre. Painted it gold and glued it on....doesn't look bad. Can't wait for these batteries. Here's some pics. Or not, can't seem to post a pic.

Large / What is this missing part?

Can anyone tell me what this missing part is? There are three holes. I'm sure something goes here.
Beyond that, where can I get the part?
I also need the bottom half of the smoke stack, where can I get that?

Will the 4-4-0 tender steps (https://estore.bachmanntrains.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4826) fit on a 4-6-0 cow catcher?

I have three Bachmann trains, 2 wonderland flyers, and 1 northern lights that all need new sound boards. The "chug" sound works but the horns never blow. Sounds like they try and then it's just a bit of static. I'm not sure which boards to buy as I'm new to trains. Got a good deal on all three of these. They are my first hobby level trains so learning as I go. Any advice or tips would be great. Thanks.
